Keukenhof gardens in The Netherlands is one of the largest gardens in the world. Keukenhof Tulip Gardens is located on the former hunting grounds of the 15th century castle, Slot Teglingen. It covers 32 hectares and is the home to 7 million bulbs with 800 different varieties of tulips. It is considered to be one of the worldÃ¢â¬â¢s largest flower parks and is in the municipality of South Holland near Lisse. It was designed by the architect Jan David Zocher and his son. This day trip from Amsterdam is well worth the time.
