17 Islands or Pulau Tujuhbelas is a collection of actually more than twenty islets forming a marine park called ‘Taman Wisata Alam Laut 17 Pulau Riung’ on Flores’ northern coast. Riung, a tiny and agglomeration of houses on the coast, is the gateway to 17 Islands National Park. It’s a quiet, no-thrill place with not too much to do apart from visiting the paradisaical, white sand beaches that can be found throughout 17 Islands National Park.
