Namaste in the Hindu culture
Hindu greetings ââ¬Ënamasteââ¬â¢ is the symbolic notion offering respect to the soul within ââ¬â the ââ¬Ëatmanââ¬â¢ and the God within ââ¬â Brahman. Various symbols embody the notion of inner purity and considered sacred. Nama means bow,as means I, and te means you. Therefore, mamaste literally means `bow me you` or `I bow to youââ¬Â signifying, I bow to the Self in you.
