Water supply zone of Ticha Dam
Ticha Dam is located in Shumen district, only 10 km from the majestic old capital of Bulgaria - Veliki Preslav. The reservoir is also in close proximity to the town of Varbitsa - 18 km, and to the center of the district - the town of Shumen, which is at a distance of 40 km. The dam impresses with an area of ââ¬â¹Ã¢â¬â¹18.7 square kilometers, 311,000,000 m3 of water volume and a height of 55.5 meters. It is located at 185 meters above sea level. The tour of Ticha Dam is quite impressive in the amount of 100 km, which makes it - the dam with the largest tour in the country.
