Autumn landscape in the Dolomites, Odle Group.
The Odle group Geislergruppe or Geislerspitzen in German is a mountain range of the Dolomites which together with the Puez group makes up most of the territory of the Puez-Odle nature park, surrounded by the Val Badia, Val Gardena and Val di Funes, in the Alto Adige. The highest peaks of the chain are Sass Rigais and Furchetta, both at 3,025 meters. The term Odle translates from the Ladin language simply into `needles`, with reference to the pointed shape of many peaks of this group. Dolomites, South Tyrol, Italy.
