This is the Glendhu forest area of the highlands, in Assynt. High mountains,waterfalls and lochs is the predominant landscape here. Although it is called a forest, this comes from earlier times in history, as the trees were felled for fuel, and for sheep grazing. This loch was a training area for midget submarines during world war two.
