Cathedral of Plasencia, Spain
The Old Cathedral of Plasencia or Catedral de Santa Maria is a Roman Catholic temple in the city of Plasencia, Province of Caceres, Spanish Extremadura. The building is an example of the transition from Romanesque to Gothic architecture, and is one of the most notable buildings in the town. The cathedral was declared a Monumento Historico-Artistico belonging to the National Artistic Treasury of Spain by a decree of 3 June 1931.
