Blue Iris Flower Raindrops Garden Virginia
This graceful blue iris was photographed at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens in Va just after a heavy rain. A springtime flower, the delicate petals are open to fully expose yellow throats on the outermost petals. Named after the greek goddess of the rainbow, this stunning iris is shown with raindrops captured in the center and on the leaves.
