Asian praying mantis egg case on picker branch

The Asian praying mantis or Chinese mantis is an invasive species to North America. This is one of their egg cases you will find. In this picture, the eggs were on a picker branch and the picture was taken in the month of February. There can be anywhere from 150 to 180 eggs in one sack. This picture was taken at my home, outside of Pottstown in Pennsylvania.
