Quena flutes closeup on the mouth pieces. Colorful traditional Andrean wind instruments.

Three handmade bamboo quenas with selective focus on the mouth pieces. Traditional Inca, Native Andean wind instruments from Peru, Ecuador, Chile and Bolivia. They can reach up to two full octaves plus some more notes on a third. Yellow colored shafts with seven finger holes decorated with cultural and holy symbols like the Chakana cross. The tube is completely hollow and the mouth piece requires a certain level of skill to produce sound. Andean people are joyful and enjoy using bright colors on what they craft.
