Lahnstein, Germany 07 25 2022: Lahn estuary with Rhine island
Lahnstein is a small town at the Lahn estuary in Mittelrheintal. The Lahn is a rather calm river due to many river locks. Lahnstein has a rich history from medieval times to a modern small town with some industry. The part up the river is Oberlahnstein with Niederlahnstein at the edge of the most southern parts of Koblenz.
