Glazed Brick Carvings on the Wall of the City God Temple in Xugou
It is located in front of the City God Temple of Xugou Town, Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province, PRC. The Temple was established during the Dading period in Jin Dynasty (1161-1189). In 1673, except for the opera stage, all buildings were burnt down and then rebuilt. Now, the broken glazed brick carvings can vaguely see its glory of the past.
