Dam destroyed from Malpasset to Fréjus
The Malpasset dam is an arch dam, now in ruins, built on the Reyran, the last left bank tributary of the Argens. The rupture of the MALPASSET dam, a thin-walled arch dam 60 m high, on December 2, 1959 caused 421 victims and 7,000 victims.
