Blue crowned motmot loves papaya
This is a Momotus lessonii bird species, Momotidae family. Known as the blue-diademed motmot. This large motmot is found in tropical lowland forest and edge, mainly in humid areas, common in Central America. Perches low to high, usually in shady areas. Characteristic blue crown with a big black central patch. Red eyes. They move the tail like an hypnotic clock. Observed near Cerro CahuàProtected Biotope, Petén department, Guatemala.
