La isla Chiquita the small island of 278 square km, as El Hierro is also called, is the smallest and least touristic island of the Canary Islands and the westernmost of them. It is even the westernmost point of Europe. The island is characterized by peace, nature and simplicity, is largely a UNESCO reserve of the highest category, and is a must-see for nature lovers.
