This Ocotillo Plant is seen in a cement planter in the side alleyway of a business as part of the decor of the eating area of the business. This plant is indigenous to the Sonoran,Chihuahuan and Colorado desserts of the United States and is also commonly found in western Texas to Southern California and Mexico. It is also called Candlewood,Slimwood,Coachwhip,Vine cactus,Flaming Sword and Jacob's Staff.The plant can live up to 60+ years and can grow to between 20-33' tall.
