Forest of Stone Steles Museum,located in Beilin District,Xi'an City,Shaanxi Province,covers an area of 31900 square meters,with a display area of 4900 square meters. It is subordinate to the Shaanxi Provincial Bureau of Cultural Relics,mainly composed of Confucius Temple,Beilin,Stone Carving Art Room,and Stone Carving Art Museum. It is a local thematic museum focusing on collecting,researching,and displaying historical steles,epitaphs,and stone carvings.In May 2008,Xi'an Beilin Museum was selected as the first batch of national first-class museums. In October 2018,Xi'an Beilin Museum was named the "National Research and Practice Education Base for Primary and Secondary School Students" in 2018.
