Storm damaged landscape in High Tatras
Autumn view of scene near Strba town showing landscape of High Tatras heavily damaged by strong windstorm that happened on 9. November 2004. This photo was taken in autumn of 2012 and it shows that nature is slowly regenerating again with young green trees. Peaks of Krivan (alt. 2494 meters), Kratka (alt. 2374 meters) and Ostra (alt. 2350 meters) can be seen in distance. High Tatras are the highest mountains in Slovakia and very popular destination for tourists and hikers.
