Lote is a village in the municipality of Stad in Vestland county, Norway. The village is located about 8 kilometres southeast of the village of Nordfjordeid and about 13 kilometres northwest of the village of Sandane in Gloppen Municipality. Lote is connected to the municipality of Gloppen by a car ferry. A ferry is a merchant vessel used to carry passengers, vehicles and cargo, across a body of water.
