Tiger's eye is a mixture of brown and yellowish colored minerals. It is composed of quartz, as the main component, limonite and riebeckite. The quartz adopts the fibrous structure by pseudomorphism (substitution preserving the shape) of crocidolite, a blue and fibrous variety of riebeckite.
