The Canglang Pavilion, variously translated as the Great Wave Pavilion, Surging Wave Pavilion, or Blue Wave Pavilion, is one of the Classical Gardens of Suzhou recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site located at 3 Canglangting Street. The perforated windows can be divided into wooden windows and stone windows and is one kind of window with ornamental patterns that aids ventilation and daylight. There are 4 different types of pattern in the perforated windows. geometric, natured, article and people themed.
