Kakatua maluku/ Cacatua moluccensis

The Moluccas cockatoo or in its scientific name Cacatua moluccensis is a medium-sized bird, with a length of about 52cm, from the genus Cacatua. This bird has white feathers mixed with pink. On his head there is a large pink crest that can be enforced. The flight and tail feathers are yellowish-orange. Females are similar, and are usually larger than males. Endemic to Indonesia, the distribution area of ??the Maluku cockatoo is in South Maluku. This species is only found in the primary and secondary forests of Seram Island, Ambon, Haruku Island and Saparua. A number of Maluku cockatoo populations are protected in Manusela National Park, which is one of the last places to find this bird in a wild habitat. Moluccan cockatoo food consists of seeds, nuts and various fruits.
