Plitvice Lakes is the oldest national park in Southeastern Europe. Since 1979, the Plitvice Lakes National Park has been included in the UNESCO list. On an area of 298 square kilometers, there are 140 waterfalls, 20 caves and 16 lakes. He attracted a lot of attention, especially in the 60s, thanks to the shooting of films based on Karl May s motifs, for example the well-known Treasure on the Silver Lake.
