Sunflower yellow flowers in the Eastern Fingerlakes NYS
Sunflower blooms open up and follow and track the sun across the FingerLakes sky in late summer. Many varieties grown including Mammoth Grey Stripe Sunflower Helianthus annuus, Teddy Bear Sunflower Helianthus annuus, and Red Sun Helianthus annuus. Sunflower heads dried and sold as wildbird seed.
