The redbellied black snake is regarded as one of Australias top ten deadliest snakes because of its toxic venom. It causes many deaths in wildlife and domestic animals and could easily kill a small child. The blowfly and the redbellied black snake are regarded as pests in Australia. Blowflies here are laying eggs or larvae into the wounds of the dead snake to produce maggots. Blowflies do this with livestock, wildlife and animals even when they are alive if they have any wounds. They also bite and carry alot of disease.
