Stavros tou Missirikou is a medieval Orthodox church, originally built in the first half of the 16th century. It was named after the Lusignan king of Cyprus, Henry II. (Monsieur Erikou), who ruled from 1285 to 1324. After the conquest of the city by the Ottomans, the church was turned into a mosque. The mosque was named Arablar Djami, which means the mosque of the Arabs
