End of the top of the ridge
Valley of the North Platte river can be seen , 700 feet below the lip of the Scotts Bluff Monument ridge above Scotts Bluff, Nebraska. The rock edges are smooth from the erosive effects of rain and wind on the soft rock layers. Far below a highway can be seen leading North from the city.
