Baptistery in Piazza dei Miracoli, Pisa, Italy
The magnificent Romanesque style Baptistry of St. John (Battistero di San Giovanni), Pisa, Tuscany. Designed by the architect Diotisalvi, the Baptistry was built during the 12th to 14th centuries. The Baptistry reaches a height of more than 54 metres and with a circumference of 107 metres it is the largest Baptistry in Italy. The Baptistry forms part of the Campo dei Miracoli (ââ¬ËField of Miraclesââ¬â¢).
