Dryden Lake after bitter cold winter weather. It is a shallow weedy lake located in Tompkins County near the Village of Dryden. This is often one of the first lakes in the area to ice-up, and it offers good early ice fishing for black crappies and bluegills and ice hockey. Ice Hockey players can be seen in the distance on sun lit frozen lake surface. The blue hour refers to the darker stages of morning and evening twilight, when the sun is quite far below the horizon, coloring the sky deep blue.
