Polarna [Arctic Street]
Planet Panelak series â In the former Soviet Bloc, a lot of cities are stuck between the dream of large modernist development and stagnation with the degrowth of its population. They can no longer develop as they did before. This 35mm black and white photography collection is inspired by the work of scholars like Krasny and Fitz who claim that 'how to plan with care with, for and in post-socialist cities' is not just important, but necessary to create imaginary for better futures for all.
