On the roof of the traditional house, right at the end of the iyan toa, there are statues of 2 animals that are considered sacred by the Buli tribe. These animals are the hornbill and the yellow-tailed skipjack fish, these animals are highly respected by the local population. The myth is that if a Buli tribe dares to kill one of the two animals, death is a risk.
