Interiors of the Ruspoli Palace in Cerveteri, Central Italy
The sixteenth-century Palazzo Principi Ruspoli in Cerveteri is one of the most beautiful and important historical buildings in Italy. It is located in the heart of the town of Cerveteri, in the wonderful Piazza Santa Maria. Its rooms have frescoes by Rossi (a pupil of Benvenuto Cellini) on the ceilings and walls, and are adorned with wonderful bas-reliefs by Benvenuto Cellini. The Salone delle Feste, which covers more than 200 square meters, offers an unforgettable welcome.
