The PeÅ¡ter plateau

The PeÅ¡ter plateau is the source of peat, which with its bio-potential is one of the highest quality peat, both in Europe and in the world. It is rich in dry land for sheep grazing (the region is known for products from PeÅ¡ter-Sjenica sheep or PeÅ¡ter-Tutin sheep, such as PeÅ¡ter cheese). The PeÅ¡ter Plateau also includes the PeÅ¡ter Field (altitude 1150m), an area of ??63 km2.
