Tungabhadra River and Ghats
The mantapa is a small open pillared pavilion and is almost at the edge of the river. During the monsoon, the river water touches the platform, sometimes even submerging it. A small sculpture of Purandaradasa with a tambura, the traditional stringed musical instrument can be seen at the pavilion.
