Roman bridge of Vega de Espinareda from the 1st century. El Bierzo, Leon, Spain.
The bridge is located in the center of the town, whose first documentary references date from the reign of Alfonso X The Wise (13th century). Some historians place it in the 1st or 2nd century AD. coinciding with the Romanization of Bierzo and the exploitation of its gold deposits.Restored in 59 after its partial destruction caused by a river flood, it is one of the greatest attractions of Vega de Espinareda.
