The elephant may drink eleven gallons of water a day and eat as much as six-hundred sixty pounds of leaves, twigs, fruit, bark, grass and roots . A beautiful sunset is in the background. The binomial name is Loxodonta africana. The elephant was photographed from the Chobe River on a safari boat from the historic Chobe Game Lodge.
