Borj El Kebir, also known as the Kasbah of Mahdia, is a 16th-century Ottoman military fortress located on the Mahdia Peninsula in Tunisia. The fortress was built in the 16th century after the departure of the Spanish, on the site of an ancient Fatimid palace.
