Qutang Gorge, also known as Kui Gorge, is a stunning canyon on the Yangtze River in Fengjie County, Chongqing, China. It stretches about 8 kilometers and is the shortest yet most majestic section of the Three Gorges, which includes Wu Gorge and Xiling Gorge. The gorge narrows to less than 100 meters and widens to about 150 meters. At its entrance are Chijia Mountain and Baiyan Mountain, known as Kuimen, celebrated for their grandeur.The Three Gorges Summit Scenic Area, located atop Chijia Mountain, offers breathtaking views and was opened on May 1, 2020. It spans over 10 kilometers and reaches a height of 1,388 meters. Visitors can enjoy a glass plank road with panoramic views of the Yangtze River and surrounding mountains, described as "suspended, dangerous, shocking, and strange."
