Basarbovsky rock monastery "St. Dimitriy Basarbovski"

Basarbovsky rock monastery "St. Dimitriy Basarbovski" is located in the valley of the Ruse Lom river, near the village of Basarbovo and 10 km from the city of Ruse. The rock monastery dates back to the Second Bulgarian Empire, but its name was first mentioned in an Ottoman tax register from 1431 .
