Peggy's Cove monument to fishermen
Granite carvings of local fishermen in a hundred foot outcrop. Carved by William E DeGarthe, an emigrant from Finland (1926) who began the project in Sept. 1977 It is a lasting monument to the Nova Scotian fishermen some of whom perished.
