The Road to Mount Aiguille
Mont Aiguille (2,085 m and a clean prominence of 465 m) is a mountain in the Vercors Plateau of the French Prealps, known as one of the Seven Wonders of Dauphiné. It is located about 58 km south of Grenoble, in the commune of Chichilianne, and the département of Isère. The first ascent was made in 1492, when King Charles VIII ordered that the peak should be climbed.
