A tower from the old barracks in Fredrikstad, Aust Agder, Norway. Old Town is the oldest part of Fredrikstad city. It was founded 12 september 1567. The fortifications from 1660s makes it to Northern Europes best preserved fortress town. The old houses of the image is typical of the old city.
