The wall protects the Citadel to the east. This was completed in 1664. A domed hut was built until the wall in 1742. On top of the vault was laid infantry positions. From about 1745 to 1845 were slaves (criminal prisoners) housed in barracks. At the modernization in 1903, the vaults furnished to hospital. The building is currently used as a museum.
