Fredriksten fortress, Northern Curtin Wall (Winter Scene)
The actual Curtin wall (outer wall) was built in the years 1664-1668. The 6 small vaulted room at the back was built first in 1746. They were used as warehouses and bunkers for soldiers. Photo is shot one day in February 2014 in Halden, Norway.
