Moucou-moucous (Araceae, Montrichardia arborescens) in the Kaw-Roura National Nature Reserve, French Guiana, overseas department of France. Located few miles southeast of Cayenne and straddling the towns of Roura and Regina, Kaw marshes are surrounded on one side by the Atlantic Ocean to the north-east and by two rivers: on the North-Westside is Mahury River and on the East, the Approuague.
