In Morocco, in the past, water bearers were men who brought some water with them to quench the thirst of people. To be easily recognizable these men wore colorful dresses. Nowadays they are not useful anymore to sell water but try to get the attention of tourists, as this water bearer in Djemma Jamaa El Fna, the main place of Marrakech.
