Too much of anything will wreak havoc on the organs, or as the saying goes too much of anything will kill you. This is true in this instance where too much iron in the liver has ceased liver functions. This is a histology stain called Prussian blue that identifies iron in tissue. All the blue is iron deposits. Normal liver might contain 1 little circle of iron that might not be found.
