Entrance of Alwi Mosque in Kangar
Kangarââ¬â¢s Masjid Alwi is one of the Perlis major landmarks. Adopting classic Mughal architecture, it was registered as a WARISAN (National Heritage) in 1988. Funded by Muslim tithes (zakat), donations from public and from the State Government. Construction began in 1931 and fully completed in 1933.
