Green pool in Waiotapu Thermal Wonderland, New Zealand
New Zealand has a young geological age and very active thermal areas similar to Yellow Stone National Park. Waiotapu (a Maori name) is a thermal park located about 20 minutes away from the thermal resort of Rotorua. This bright green pool owes its color to sulphur rich deposits, which never ceases to amaze locals and tourists from all over the world.
