Padua. Island Memmia in Prato della Valle (Pra de La Vale / pra goddess vae /, in Padua) is the largest square in the city of Padua and among the largest in Italy and Europe with an area of 88 620 mò [2] . The current configuration dates from the late eighteenth century and is characterized by elliptical central island, called Memmia island (20,000 square meters), surrounded by a channel (channel fed by Alicorno) on whose shores lies a double ring of statues, with an outside circumference of 1,450 meters.
